고온 연도 가스 또는 열원이 코일 주위 또는 코일을 통과하여 내부의 포화 증기로 열을 전달하여 온도를 과열 상태로 높입니다.

벽 과열기는 특수한 종류의 과열기입니다. 때로는 과열 표면의 일부가 노에 위치해야 합니다. 벽 과열기 표면은 이러한 응용 분야에 사용됩니다. 벽 과열기는 기본적으로 노 막 벽에 최대한 가깝게 매달리거나 노의 일부를 형성하는 연결된 튜브의 평평한 패널입니다. 때로는 백패스 측벽이 과열 표면을 형성합니다. 일반적으로 벽 과열기는 증기 드럼 다음 또는 가장 차가운 과열기 다음의 첫 번째 과열기입니다.
